- Grade III (Category II):
- Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Class 12th) or its equivalent, and some specific posts may require candidates to have completed Class 12th from the science stream.
- Grade III (Category III):
- Driver positions require candidates to have passed HSLC or its equivalent examination and possess a valid LMV Driving License.
Other Criteria for Assam Direct Recruitment:
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 40 years old as of 1st January 2023.
- Age Relaxation: There is age relaxation for different categories:

- SC/ST: 5 years
