On Sunday morning, the perpetrators, believed to be part of an organized crime group, broke into a Jaguar-Land Rover dealership and made off with nine vehicles worth over half a million dollars.

Surveillance footage captured the audacious act as nine masked individuals infiltrated the dealership premises around 6 a.m. Each suspect swiftly located and utilized key fobs to unlock and steal the high-end vehicles. The scene escalated further when one of the cars was recklessly driven through an overhead service door, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Waukesha Police Capt. Dan Baumann described the methodical operation, indicating that the suspects meticulously searched for the keys before distributing them amongst themselves. The stolen vehicles, totaling more than $583,000 in value, ranged from luxury sedans to top-of-the-line SUVs.
Despite the swift response from law enforcement, only one suspect, a 17-year-old from Chicago, was apprehended following a dramatic police pursuit that ended in a crash on Interstate 94 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The apprehended teenager now faces a slew of charges, including burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. Currently held at the Waukesha County Jail on a $50,000 bond, his arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are actively pursuing leads to locate the remaining eight suspects, all believed to be part of the same criminal network originating from the Chicago area. Baumann revealed that several of the teenage perpetrators are already known to law enforcement agencies operating in both southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, underscoring the coordinated nature of the criminal enterprise.
