Maruti Suzuki Augusta: Have you ever found yourself daydreaming about cruising in a Fortuner during your school days? Well, buckle up because MARUTI SUZUKI has a delightful surprise in store for you, and it goes by the name “AUGUSTA” – a word that resonates with magnificence. The AUGUSTA aims to capture the essence that the Fortuner has exuded for the past two decades, bringing dreams to life for countless Indians 🇮🇳.
The Suzuki Augusta LXI boasts a design that pays homage to the majestic Fortuner. The front grille draws inspiration from the formidable LORD SPRESSO, setting the stage for a bold and captivating presence on the road. While the absence of a 360 camera may raise eyebrows for some, the focus here is on the raw driving experience.
During the pact between Maruti and Toyota, both the car manufacturers can introduce their respective vehicles to each other’s people with some cosmetic changes and engine changes. Just as observed with the Toyota Innova High Cross and Maruti Invicto, or the dynamic duo of Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza, not to forget the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara alongside its counterpart, the Toyota High Rider. Its design is going to be inspired by Toyota Fortuner like other vehicles.
Although we are going to see many changes in its design, Augusta is going to get a friend profile like Espresso at the front, while at the rear also a rear profile similar to S presso has been offered. It will get LED headlights and LED tail lights with four grilles and center grille similar to the Espresso, along with steel wheels in the base model while the top model will be offered with alloy wheels. Nevertheless, it won’t match the standard of the Fortuner in terms of quality.
The Augusta LXI doesn’t just stop at capturing attention with its design; it also offers versatility in fuel options. Alongside traditional fuel, the Augusta LXI proudly features a CNG variant. The CNG badge proudly displayed on the windshield is a testament to Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly driving solutions. The fuel-lid locks further ensure a seamless integration of design and functionality.
