Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 has issued two employment notifications for the recruitment of 12,600 Grade III and Grade IV positions in various departments and establishments under the Government of Assam. These vacancies will be filled according to the rules established by the newly formed Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. Educational Qualification for Assam Direct Recruitment:
Grade IV (Class IV):
Candidates who have completed up to Class VIII.
Those who have passed HSLC or its equivalent.
HSLC with ITI.
Grade III (Category I):
Bachelor’s Degree (as applicable).
Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 months duration (as applicable).
Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 months duration and a Stenography Certificate from a recognized institute (as applicable).
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 months duration from a recognized institute (as applicable).
Grade III (Category II):
Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Class 12th) or its equivalent, and some specific posts may require candidates to have completed Class 12th from the science stream.
Grade III (Category III):
Driver positions require candidates to have passed HSLC or its equivalent examination and possess a valid LMV Driving License.
Other Criteria for Assam Direct Recruitment:
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 40 years old as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: There is age relaxation for different categories:
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
